Privacy policy

The short version

SermonReelsPro is a desktop app that runs on your computer. Your sermon videos are transcribed and processed locally on your machine — they are not uploaded to us. The app talks to Anthropic (Claude) directly using your own API key. This website collects only what you choose to give us through a form.

What this website collects

  • Email you submit. If you join a waitlist or newsletter, we store the email address and the reason you gave, via our forms provider (Netlify Forms). We use it to contact you about SermonReelsPro.
  • Basic server logs. Our host may keep standard request logs (IP, browser type) for security and reliability.
  • No advertising trackers. We don’t sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

What the app processes

  • Your sermons stay local. Transcription (OpenAI Whisper) and rendering happen on your PC. We don’t receive your video or audio.
  • Your API key stays local. The app stores your Anthropic key on your machine and sends requests straight to Anthropic. The key does not pass through us.
  • Generated text is sent to Anthropic. To write content, sermon text is sent to Anthropic’s API under your account. Anthropic’s handling of that data is governed by Anthropic’s own privacy terms.

Connecting TikTok (optional)

  • Only if you choose to. Uploading to TikTok is optional. If you connect a TikTok account, you sign in through TikTok’s own authorization screen and grant SermonReelsPro permission to upload videos (the video.upload scope).
  • Used only to upload your own videos. That authorization is used solely to send the reels you select to your own TikTok account as private drafts, which you then review and post in the TikTok app. We don’t read your profile, your existing videos, or your followers.
  • Your TikTok login stays on your machine. The access token TikTok issues is stored locally on your PC and used to talk to TikTok directly — it does not pass through us. We don’t store, share, or sell any TikTok data.
  • You can disconnect anytime. Revoke the app’s access in your TikTok account settings; removing the local token on your machine also ends the connection.

Third parties

  • Anthropic — processes the AI requests you make with your own key.
  • Netlify — hosts this website and our forms.
  • Stripe — processes payments when you buy a license. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • TikTok — if you connect TikTok, the app uploads your selected videos to your own account using your authorization. Handled under TikTok’s privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete any email address you’ve submitted at any time — just email john@sermonreelspro.com. Because your sermons and key never leave your computer, you control that data directly on your own machine.
